Asphalt & Concrete Removal or Replacement

ASAP Paving specializes in the service of asphalt and concrete removal or asphalt and concrete replacement across Sothern California and the surrounding area. We primarily serve Orange County, Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire and San Diego Counties. Our primary area of focus is on commercial and public properties, including universities, schools, businesses, offices, churches, banks, and other commercial properties.

Asphalt replacement is a process where an additional asphalt or concrete surface layer is added to the existing surface, which may be excessively damaged by mainly linked to poor drainage, traffic overloading, expansive subgrade soils and the use of low quality materials in construction. Most resurfacing jobs add an additional 1.5? or 2? of hot-mix asphalt or concrete. In instances where poor drainage is the issue, it can cause collapsing and expedited deterioration, making a parking lot resurfacing only a short-term solution. Our qualified experts will be able to determine the main source of your paving damage, determine resurfacing options and work within your budget.

At ASAP paving we will send one of our experts to discuss the idea of having your existing surface layer “milled” before being resurfaced. Your pavement may be recommended for milling and paving if an increase in parking lot elevation could significantly impact curb visibility, parking lot drainage, or if trip hazards will be created along the perimeter by the increase in pavement. Although milling & paving is more expensive than a resurface, it usually helps to prevent pavement failures similar to those already occurring will not appear again later.

Sealcoating vs. Replacement?

Many customers get "resurfacing" confused with "sealcoating." Sealcoating, or pavement sealing, is the process of applying a protective coating to asphalt-based pavements to provide a layer of protection from the elements: water, oils, and U.V. damage.

It is a service we offer as well, and we recommend regular sealcoating to save money on repair and maintenance costs in the long run.
